CERATIZIT presents innovative cutting tool solutions for the aerospace industry at the 53rd International Air Show in Paris le Bourget in June 2019

At the Paris Air Show visitors will also gain an insight into a specific product ranges that play an important role in the aerospace sector. One of these solutions is the optimised milling tool MaxiMill211–K, which is especially suitable for production requirements of the aerospace industry. The MaxiMill 211-K features inserts and geometry that creates a clean cut and permits high cutting rates, as well as optimising cutter stability. Process reliability and quality is guaranteed through an integrated chip space that delivers optimal chip clearance.

When it comes to tool life and chip removal, the CERATIZIT Group has set the benchmark for titanium machining with its insert grade CTC4250. With its fine-grained carbide and a hardwearing CVD coating CTC4250 withstands the rigours of machining highly abrasive materials even with a cutting speed of 60m/min. The secret lies in the highly viscous base substrate which guarantees, in combination with a thin DVD layer, a good ratio between abrasion and tool life.

The full-range provider of high-quality precision cutting tools

At the heart of the Ceratizit Group is its world-renowned innovation when it comes to developing cutting tool solutions that keep its customers ahead of the competition. Bringing the four competence brands of Cutting Solutions by Ceratizit, Komet, WNT, and Klenk together as Team Cutting Tools, the Ceratizit Group is able to deliver significant advantages to customers. “They will benefit from a highly attractive, integrated range of services; one of the most extensive on the market along with highly efficient sales, leading expertise in future technologies (from digitisation to nanotechnology), and many years of in-depth experience in the industry – all in one place”, said Jean-Charles Montero, Managing Director CERATIZIT France.

“At the 53rd International Air Show in Paris Le Bourget, we like to show our expertise in the aerospace sector and are looking forward to informing and updating all visitors at our booth in Hall 3 Stand B38 at June 17-23, 2019.
