The second China International Import Expo (CIIE) concluded on Sunday 10th with an intended purchase value reaching $71.13 billion, up by 23% from the last CIIE edition.

During the opening of the expo, the President Xi Jinping said that China will continue improving the business environment to make it more market-oriented, law-based and internationalized.

Nicolás Correa has been already present in the country for more than three decades, but the presence is stablish since the new subsidiary was inaugurated this year. GNC has installed more than 400 milling machines in China.

Among the huge display of goods from across the world at the second China International Import Expo in Shanghai, the new Correa FOX, bridge type milling machine, was the heaviest machine at the second edition, with 90 tons in weight. This Correa machine has the biggest cross sections in the market, maintaining machine geometry stability and roughing capacity. It also reaches 30 m/min in X, Y and Z axes, thanks to its V-Shaped linear guide-ways in all axes.

With the attendance to the exhibition, Nicolás Correa has made some new contacts and it has set a clear vision of Chinese market demands. Therefore, the year ends with good results about international exhibitions participation for Nicolás Correa Group.

For the next year, it is already planned a third CIIE edition, and 230 enterprises have signed up, some of them from different sectors which will bring new exhibition areas.
