The 2021 version of WORKPLAN improves automation and flexibility to strengthen its integration in the sheet metal sector.

Continuous improvement for the sheet metal world

Initially used as a calculator for sheet metal quotes, Radquote, the RADAN quote module, integrates seamlessly with WORKPLAN. Projects are now updated by taking into account referenced components present in a nomenclature thus optimizing the price of the project.

“It is also possible to combine the basic WORKPLAN articles with new parts which require a specific calculation in Radquote on the same lines of the estimate,” explains Christophe Mas. “The material prices are automatically updated between the two solutions, and the system can now generate a material price request via the sheet metal requirement estimate directly based on RADAN’s nesting calculation. “

Grouping Basket of Activities

The improvements made to the activity basket, a novelty revealed during the launch of WORKPLAN 2020.0, make it possible to automatically create all the baskets for the same project in a few clicks … or from a nesting by drag and drop. It is now possible to control the baskets of activities via the barcode system with specific production ranges, or via touch screens. “This revolutionizes time tracking management and promotes automation and flexibility in the workshops. It also simplifies the management of assembly activities, heat treatment and finishing operations. ” 

GDPR – General data protection regulations

A new set of measures has been adopted to guarantee maximum protection regarding the collection and processing of staff and customer data. “We have also put in place guidelines for best practices in the area of ​​GDPR fundamental rights such as consent management, the right to be forgotten, the right to rectification and data portability. “

Finally, Christophe MAS declares that WORKPLAN continues its integration into all Hexagon solutions with many projects in preparation in order to become an essential element of the complete digital chain.
